I stopped at the store on the way home and since it was almost empty the canned music was pretty loud. It took only a moment to realize that what I was hearing actually wasnt music at all. It was annoying, computer generated and horribly auto tuned to the point where the singer didnt sound like a person. It was a foul stench of a song with zero meaning no doubt constructed by a team of homogenous minded baboons bent on making a mockery of the very soul of music and the inspiration that is supposed to make it what it is. The singer sounded like a 20 year old trying to sound like a 13 year old and again I return to my hatred of the auto tuner. I read an article that stated that producers are teaching their new talent how to sing TO the auto tuner. GOD help us all, Gene Simmons is right....rock music is dead.
