I stopped by and had a chat with these Seniors enjoying the river. I told them that the Recreation Commission would meet at 7:30 tomorrow (Wednesday) to hopefully approve four new heavy duty bench swings. They were thrilled! They commented further about all the wonderful progress they have seen and how beautiful our parks are...and that so many take them for granted. With all the cleaning and new purchases I certainly see them being used more than ever.
