I stopped going 2 any stadium 4 d purpose of watching football in Nigeria since Nigeria 1999. This is bcos of what I went thorough in d National Stadium, Surulere-Lagos: I was flogged by men in uniform, received doses of pure water sachet been stoned from all angle, my face cap mysteriously removed from my head, and almost suffered a stampede by d mammoth crowd in entrance gate. In 2002, Sunday Olise did not make d Super Eagles squad to Japan -Korea World cup bcos The Modakeke High Chief, Festus Onigbinde was d gaffer just like now dt Stephen Keshi is d gaffer. There was a clamour 4 Sunday Olise, from all quarters, to be in d team. But, Onigbinde refused, and wasnt crucified. He was asked to give reasons. And he said IT WAS A SUBSTITUTION BY ELIMINATION. To be candid, I love d game of football bcos I played it when I was @ Central School, Nenwe then in Awgu LGA, Enugu state. And in Awgu High School, Nenwe I played again. D beauty of it then was that the category was known as 410(four feet ten) for juniors. Wow, indeed, cheating in age grade football did not start today bcos we saw men, but with boyish stature that played with us - the small boys, just bcos they suffered stunted growth. You get to know them when you dribble them bcos they would miss the ball, but not your leg. And that will bring to an end your participation in that field of play. Anyway, Im in support of Keshi to take whosoever he deemed fit for the World cup to Brazil. Yes, a player can be obedient to his clubs Coach while a different player when called to a national team. The reason is that Ive not seen a player retiring from a club level to international level, rather they retire from international level to commit their future to their club level. The irony is that when such a player succeed in rubbishing d national teams coach credential, would jet back to his club, and continue playing, receiving salaries/winning bonuses, etc. while the national team coach must be sacked to roam the streets. There4, Keshi Do-Not-Allow anybody that will rubbish your God given career into the squad to Brazil. Go to Brazil 2014 with the same risk you took to South Africa, 2013. God on our side, Nigeria will smile bcos anything can happen. On the other hand, the LEAGUE MGT. COMMITTEE (LMC) in Nigeria should cancel all matches of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri beeing played in that state till normalcy is restored in that state. Elkanemi should be relocated to a more safer state for the sake of the lives of our players. And should LMC refuse these calls then let all the club sides forfeit every 3 points to Elkanemi so that they can win the League to represent Nigeria in Intercontinental level so that other teams from other countries can come, and should be asked to go to Maiduguri to play. Meanwhile, kudos to LMC for not allowing the two teams that did not meet up with the requirements of registration into the Premier League. Things must be done in order, and in anywhere for Gods sake! Why should anybody clamour for a waver for the two club sides bcos they are from the private sector? Today, 90% of Nigerians are either a fan of this club or that in Europe bcos private or individuals took over, and are doing right. And just this week, the president of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeness received a jail term of three and half years for tax evasion in Germany. Can you imagine, Bundelisger refused to give him a waver. Or could it be that German govt. was jealous of him as a private sector making hay in Germany? God bless you !
