I stopped in Walmart yesterday for a snack for the drive home. I noticed 3 police vehicles parked at the entry way. I dont know why I did this...but I tucked my shirt in before I walked in...exposing my Ruger pistol on my right hip. I deliberately sought out the officers inside and walked by them, trying to make sure they saw that I was armed and not hiding it. I even stopped in front of them pretending to look at something. Id heard stories of officers wrongly harassing people for open carrying and I wanted to test the theory. Nothing happened. Truthfully...I kinda liked open carrying. I think Ill do it more often because...well, just because I can. And kudos to the officers. One even gave me a nod.
