I stopped using my credit card for one payment cycle for two reasons (1) see if there were any unexpected charges being slipped in; and, (2) just to be more aware of cash flow. I got kinda nutty at the end of last year with a lot of travel expenses. Anyway, the results are in as I got my statement and here is what I learned: (1) Experian Credit Report is charging me a $19.95 monthly fee and I used them once when I was buying my home. So, need to put an end to that. (2) I am auto-paying my home internets with my credit card...I really forgot I had set that up. Would prefer to pay from my bank. (3) On February 20th I had a brain fart and downloaded a movie from iTunes and so did use my credit card, oops! (and havent even watched the movie yet, it is Dallas Buyers Club) But, overall mission accomplished. I reduced frivolous spending and uncovered Experians sneakiness!
