I strongly believe that palestinian people are pure sunnis, no wonder why saudis and other wahabi nations have abandoned them. In fact palestine have been the bastion of sunni Islam for centuries, many great alim, fuqaha, muhaddith were born in Gaza, the first one to resist the zionist was a Qadiri Palestinian Muslim who goes by the name of Izzedin al Qassam . The works of Imam Ahmad Rida (ra) is also known to the palestinian, even back when communication and technology were scarce , the works of Ala Hadhrat (ra) managed to make its way to Palestine, many great palestinian scholars and poets have been influenced by the marvellous works of Ala Hadhrat (r.a) , so it is a fallacy to say that barelvism is only a pakistani or indian exclusivity because what we follow is in line and in conformity with traditional Sunni Islam which existed since the dawn of Islam, the only difference is that many arabs have compromised their religion with wahabis and deobandis that today you see most of Arab shuyoukh having ijazah going back to deos.
