I strongly disagree with this article. 1. it does not provide any biblical reason in itself to forbid wearing facial hair. We can create reasons such as not offending others. If no one were offended it ceases being sinful in those circumstances. I wont wear facial hair anywhere that it offends. 2. The article gave its own evidence for why we stopped wearing it, though, as he stated himself, was due to the Hippies and rebelious- it does not have that connotation today. 3. Its pride? But that goes with a mans haircut and clean shaven look. Tell a man to sport a beard and watch the same display of tenacious stubbornness come out. Simply put were men and shouldnt be treated like children and will react with stubbornness when treated as such. Biblically, facial hair is good lets see that our hearts line up with being gracious to those who follow a biblical practice even though it is always ones choice to wear or refrain from wearing facial hair. Now, if youll excuse me im going to go shave because I DO believe in respect.
