I struggle to ask God for things for me personally. I do pray for forgiveness of my daily stumbles (God knows theres a bunch but he never really brings them up in our conversations) :) its been a struggle the past two weeks but all I kept asking for is a chance. Contrary to what some believe I dont think God has a favorite in politics... but I prayed for a chance and everything has fallen in place to make that happen... and I am grateful. My wife and I dont see eye to eye on most things :) ok on almost everything. Ive no doubt he placed her in my life at the right time because she always pushes me in the direction of my dreams without hesitation. The day I filed for office I spent an hour in the courthouse parking lot... texting, FB and calling her for a reason not to. She didnt answer... she told me the night before to go for it... it would be alright and work its way out. She was right. Ive got my chance and win or lose, thats all I wanted...
