I suffered through two and a half years of horrific abuse behind closed doors at the hands of a Narcissist. I am still suffering and there will probably be some degree of life long damage but slowly Im recovering. It is important that you read this and share if you think anyone close to you may be a victim. The only breaks I had from the abuse was when others were present. Remember Narcissists will present as charming and likeable in public often bearing gifts and will show devotion to their partners. This however is just a facade. Look for the signs, a partner who constantly tries to please and/or sits quietly in the background afraid or nervous. Ask questions and provide information if you can. Most of all arm yourself against the narcissist by reading up on the subject. Anyone can become a victim and its highly likely you already know someone whos life is in danger.
