I suggest we get going with the debate on this ANC Women’s - TopicsExpress

I suggest we get going with the debate on this ANC Women’s League madness sooner rather than later. What is really going on here? Is it a stereotypical anti-Venda plot to deny a man from an “inferior” tribe where people are witches and pretenders who like to build big colourful houses from becoming the President of the ANC and the country? Is it a tribal plot by KZN fundamentalists who want to ensure another 20 years of Zulu reign? Under President Zuma it was a happy-go-lucky time for more than 70 of his closest flunkies who served in the biggest cabinet in the world. They are totally dependent on his goodwill and that of his preferred successor. I doubt if Deputy Ramaphosa will sit up with this bunch of mostly underperformers, and they know it. Are there elements in the mother-body behind this ANCWM resolution? Is the ANCWL allowing themselves to be abused by such elements (if they exist)? Is it perhaps President Zuma’s fear that a man with 10 times more integrity than him like Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa might not support a plan to secure him indemnity from prosecution for the 700+ charges of theft, fraud, money laundering and corruption which is yet to be tested in court? Or, is South Africa ready (is it time) for a women to be President of the Republic? A question in my opinion which is totally out of order anyway. Why should there be a “right” time or a “wrong” time for a female South African to become President as all South Africans enjoy the same rights under the constitution.
