I support intervention at all levels if need be in Ukraine against Russia, but we as Americans have to remember that we cannot accuse Russia of breaking international law without holding our own country responsible. We use drone strikes in other countries violating their national sovereignty such as Pakistan, and yet accuse Russia of violating Ukraines national sovereignty. Our foreign policy is really whacked out, and in order to make a difference internationally we have to change ours and follow the law as well. We cant invade countries like Iraq and Afghanistan without just cause and a declaration of war from Congress. We cant use military force against American citizens abroad due to suspicion of terrorism. We have a Constitution for a reason and no government can take a persons right to life or liberty without due process. We cant stand by while the government violates multiple Constitutional Rights such as the Fifth Amendment(No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury. We have to come to our senses about this issue of war and realize that our hands are not clean in this at all.
