I suppose i have to reflect on the year or im somehow breaking a social media protocol that could end up with my destiny being overlooked by the internet gods... SO BE IT!! Im very lucky to be able to say that this year has been one of immense growth. After an all too brief 2 week tour with RA - Official fanpage in Feb, I was reminded of how proud I am to have created something that somehow resonated with people a bit deeper and how much i will miss feeling that from the stage at least for now. I will always be indebted to Pj Farley, Ben Carroll, Andy Ryan and Skoota for the life they injected into Ra and for their commitment. Incredible musicians who were willing to trust me to create what i could. This year I got to work with some really great people. On the rock side I helped September Mourning find a sound and write some songs enabling them to get a deal at Virgin Records and played guitar on some songs with Josh Freese playinjg drums...while Howard Benson produced and Chris Lord Alge mixed. I launched a music company with Bob Marlette and Jason Charles Miller to help new talent find people that are normally out of reach. I finished the record I started nearly 1 1/2 yrs ago for Meytal Cohen and watched/helped that project go from kickstarter to major positioning for 2015. Through that project I was able to connect with Eric Emery, Anel BassVocals, Travis Montgomery, Doc Coyle and Lior Ron. I also got to work with Ryan Ray from Adakain, Mudface, Concordia, Emphatic and Devilstar. On the Pop/IndiePop side I was honored to have done some of my best work for Molly Marlette along with my partners on that project- Phil Shaouy and A Jeffrey Halavacs who back in 2006 were in a band called Madelyn that I had the honor of developing. I got to play a guitar solo on a Jessie J song thanx to my sensual friend and uber producer Joshua Coleman aka Ammo. I also worked on songs with O-Town, Beauty In The Breakdown, David Lazarus, Rose Erosion, Kris Moauro, Ernie Jackson, Riot Child and Reed Waddle. Got to see Rose and Vine finally start to get recognized for their talent. I got to write some toplines for some awesome Edm projects, most notably 2 for DallasK beats which are yet to be released via their respective projects. I also started developing Josh Napert again with the help of Phil and Jeff. Really good stuff!. I was able to hire a studio engineer who turned out to be a great singer/songwriter in her own right as well as a good friend. She edits my sessions, helps me stay organized and pretty much built the new studio. Many thanks to Brooke Villanyi for her focus, ability and sass. Apparently im not happy unless some girl is yelling at me. Which leads me to my greatest joy this year. My stunningly beautiful wife, Kira Ticotin and I are awaiting our first child due in early May 2015. My wife makes me smile constantly and i love her so much that just the idea of having a little one to play with along side her makes me glow. She is an incredible woman that I cannot live without. Thats pretty much everything I can remember that i care to mention... although its 6am so i might have forgotten a few things...
