I suppose its official now...I have no desire to eat beef. This epicure wont order beef from the menu of a 5-star restaurant, and I wont buy hamburgers from fast food restaurants. The better informed I became about agribusiness and our food supply, the more committed I was to sustainability. Its tough to get fresh, high quality seafood in Oklahoma, so Ill have seafood shipped in to supplement locally raised, free range poultry. And Ill grow my own organic produce to insure a steady, year-round supply of fruits and vegetables picked at peak exactly when we need them. ►The Hearth Project is a game changer, and were excited about plans to raise our profile at the national level from our home base in southwest Oklahoma.
