I sure wish that show #IManageACelebrity could be on TV right - TopicsExpress

I sure wish that show #IManageACelebrity could be on TV right now, because some of these urban shows that are on at the moment...are giving Celebrity/Artist Managers a bad wrap. Aspiring, Moderate, and Seasoned Celebrity Managers need a show that tells a different story, about the hard work, sweat, and real dedication that goes into the managing of a mega star from the bottom to the top... Not some of this crap I see on these reality shows (and I aint naming no names), where Celebrity Managers are being disrespected left and right. One show I watched the other day, baffled me so, that I texted another Manager I know and asked, Where are the Managers at on this show? Especially, when the artist broke down when told they had to do a 30 min set, when they only prepared to do a 15 minute one (which I was thinking they should have been prepared to do a 30 min set anyway, just in case sh*t happens, but thats me). The show, showed their Music Supervisor given them the news, which I know can happen; but as soon as the artist nutted up with their peeps, who was blamed for the screw up...The so called Manager, who was no where to be found. I dont know what happened to #IManageACelebrity, but that show is so a needed it right now (I repeat). I wonder why Scooter Braun or Tina Davis arent doing these type of reality shows that are on right now to set the record straight? #hmmm I know the art of the Managing is secretive, but there are simple processes to every type of business; and if they are going to have Celebrity shows about Celebrities...the managers need to be shown in a different light and respected. These shows got it so twisted. As a #CelebrityManager in the making, I say we need our own #realityshow. These shows are not tellin the whole truth about Celebrity Management or my degrees arent worth the money spent to learn about the business of Entertainment and Music, nor my experience or the wisdom Ive received from some very experienced kats in this business. My degrees are worth it...and the wisdom Ive learned, read about, received, and tested on my clients is also worth it...so we just need our own show...to tell our own story. #period. #ijs Im about to start a petition or something. If not for I Manage a Celebrity...perhaps another one with real bonafide Celebrity Managers who truly want to educate and pass real knowledge on to us young kats coming under yall. Because we are coming...some prepared and experienced, most not; and those kats are the ones mucking it up for the rest of us, along with these reality shows. And thats just one side of Celebrity Management. #mytwocents xoxo ~Tomeka
