I survived the surgery and now have one less troublesome submandibular salivary gland. I am still physically weaker than I expected to be, and I have some loss of motor control and sensation on the left side of my face and mouth. It should get better as the swelling and insult goes away. But I am still alive and I miss solid foods a lot. I tried eating some yesterday, but I bit my tongue and will stick to goo for a while. I am sick of goo.
