I swear, I have so little self control. Just when I vow never to buy another antique doll, I see this wonderful 28 Ludwig Grenier girl with a rare hairstyle and her original 1858 patent label intact. Its not about the money, because she was a bargain. Okay; its partly about the money, but its more about the space I dont have! I guess I can justify this by telling myself that she is the only American-made girl in the collection, that she is investment-quality, blah, blah, blah, but who am I kidding?
