Im sitting here thinking about how long these 2 have been our supposed national leaders and just how ineffective theyve been. They are definitely the 2 most prominent black leaders in the country and they always involve themselves in matters when it comes to race but in 30 years of Up with hope! Down with dope! and I AM SOMEBODY and No justice no peace and other rhyming slogans you mean to tell me that they havent been able to articulate and put forth an effective message? They havent been able to study this problem and come up with a meaningful solution? Its because theyre GATE KEEPERS. They speak a certain amount of truth but never enough to actually change things. They will never articulate a message that allows people to think this issue through to its logical conclusion. Black people have got to stop concerning themselves with the understanding and compassion of others and start seeking to gain POWER!
