I swear most days I feel like I literally fell down the rabbit hole and exist as Alice in Wonderland. A couple weeks ago I got a call from Jen from the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, of which we are huge fans. She asked if Colin and our family would help support the House in coordination with the Eagles, as RMH is celebrating their 40th anniversary. I am a HUGE fan of RMH!! They sponsor and fund the camp that Colin and Will attended. We also often made use of the Ronald McDonald Family Room at CHOP. RMH is not funded by Ronald McDonald charities, they do their own fundraising. So when I got the call asking if we would help support the house, without hesitation, I said yes. Come on down to the house at 4 pm. Seemed easy enough. What I did not realize was Colin and I would each be interviewed by NFL Films for a segment that airs on the Today show called Together We Make Football. And this segment will air, with us live on the Today show on October 10th. WHAT?????? Ok- that picture on the stairs is the film crew. Takes a lot of people. No pictures of me being interviewed- I look like a bum. If I had known I would have dressed us all better. There are some other cool things planned, I will keep you posted. Now, in reality- hard day for Colin. Think school and the fast pace finally caught up with him. He stayed home from school and slept most of the day. Tomorrow clinic, then CHOP. Definitely fell down the rabbit hole.
