I sweat bullets when I have to greet a bro because I can never predict what theyre about to do. Oh hes extending his hand. Is that a high five? Wait no thats too low. Should I pound that? No that would make a turkey. Hold on I think its a handshake. No thats too formal. Oh I know! Its... Of course, being distracted with so many options + slow response time + approaching in the slightly wrong angle and next thing I know were awkwardly hugging, cheek to cheek. Lets pretend that never happened I said nonchalantly as I unpeeled myself from the clearly shocked victim and click clacked my way out of a very awkward situation. I hope this little anecdote would encourage people to amend the bro code for standardized greetings. Or better yet, next time yellow out what youre about to do to me so we can both avoid unnecessary skin contact.
