I sympathize with my sister, Alicia Pickard.......it seems as of late she and I are having trouble attracting men. Recently Ive noticed something about people in general. At the bus stop, where I see people chatting in happy groups tend to migrate in the other direction when they see me coming, like Im contagious or something. About 98% of the time I havent said or done a thing and this still happens. Im just listening to my music waiting for the bus like the rest of them. I know I shouldnt take offense, because I know this is only natural for people to be a little nervous around something they dont understand, but after a while, it gets old. Im 30 dammit. The only logical conclusion I can come up with is this: When I was younger, my disability was cuter to people. Its like what a cute, inspirational disabled girl, I wish she was mine! when I was like a little, little kid, but now that Im older, its just not cute anymore. No, no, its creepy now. :)
