I take it as a win that in a State where the majority is Republicans / Conservatives we still had 57% of the vote in favor of Amendment 2 we were only 3% shy of changing lives for the better so that just goes to show you how important your vote is...it can make the difference. Im also extremely proud of the State of Florida for being one of the first states in the Country to put this on the Ballot for conversation and consideration... we might be more progressive than perhaps thought. Patience pays off and I believe that the next time this comes around, it will be passed. Good work friends.... never stop driving toward the goal for Human Rights & Justice.... it is clear that a combination of Republicans/Democrats and Liberals all voted in favor of this so to me there is no partisan divide here - we showed up as a collective community with different view points and with further education, understanding and awareness we will get there.
