I take major issue with the claim, If cannabis is not addictive then neither is heroin. When identifying addiction three things are considdered: dependance, abuse, and withdrawl. Although the first two may apply to some mj users, withdrawl of mj pales in comparison to heroine withdrawl. One should not assume that mj is more addictive than heroine, simply because heroine users have had more success at quitting. This could be explained by other factors, such as the level of availability, social acceptance of drug, the effectiveness of the drug as a medication, as well as the level of known harm (as perceived by the user) that a drug may effect a persons well being. Other than this, the article seems quite enlightening.
