I talk about this Spanish Coin thingy I found in a Cotton Field on the Alabama River. I researched it hard today on the Internet. Never found it. Close but not the same. It has a hole drilled in the top, and I new an Indian altered it to wear it as a amulet. I did verify that, as there were other Spanish Coins that were the same. Of all of Alabama only 5 sites were identified. Two were on the Alabama River near my home, and one near my house on Perdido Bay. Only two Spanish Expeditions ever came up this way. Hernando DeSoto and Tristan DeLuna. Isnt that interesting that in all my foot travels through field and wood, I would find such an artifact, with a face, a helmet, a plum rising from the helmet, with a check guard, a mustache, and full beard. Hold it in your hand. Its about 600 years old. Long time to lay in a Cotton Field.
