I talked to my Mom for 15 minutes today! I havent seen her for 6 years, because after a lifetime of abuse, she finally crossed a line that nearly killed me. It is extremely scarey for me to even crack the door open, she tends to want to barrel her way back in full force. My trust has been too destroyed to ever allow her physically or emotionally close to me, but I am trying to atleast give her an avenue to step up and repair what she destroyed. It may be slightly working, because she did say, I am so sorry for what our family did to you, I wish everyday I could take it back. WOW!!.... I couldnt even respond, I was to shocked by what sounded like a possible partial apology For her to admit anything or even come close to apologizing is a total miracle. Colton was so proud of me, and just kept praising me for staying so calm with her. #bigaccomplishmenttoday
