I talked with a breeder in Germany about Sashas Hip Dysplacia. She told me about a well known German shepherd breeder who too had a very young shepherd with the same problem. To fix her hips he build up her hint muscles by having the dog pull weight. He slowly increased the weight week by week. At the end her muscles were strong enough to hold the hips in place and she never needed surgery. She lived a long and full life. So I am getting a doggy cart for Sasha! In the beginning it will be only training to get her used to it. Then we will slowly add weight on the cart adding 20 lbs bags of dog food on it. Every week we ad another 20 lbs till we have her up to $140 lbs. We will have her pull weight 3 times a day for about 15 minutes. I sure hope to see results within 4 month. That would be so wonderful if this will work instead of putting her through painful surgery down the road. I think it is worth a try. Later on I let either Tisha or Natasha sit on the cart for Sasha to pull, like in 3 month or so. What do you think? things4yourdog/dog%20carriage
