I teach the teenage Sunday school class at church and my Sunday school lesson today is on death. I faced this issue with my Daddy this year. We all face it eventually. I always thought I would fall apart without my Dad but this will sound crazy..I barely miss him, because I know one day I will see him again. Its crazy the peace God has given me in this situation. Definitely the peace that passes all understanding. Its like he is gone away to squirrel camp! Lol! I know he is having a blast and if anything I am jealous and cant wait to see him again! I do feel sorrow for my mother but she is doing amazing and is the strongest woman I know! Its like he isnt really gone. He is still in my heart. I have tons of amazing memories. It has taught me so much about LIFE and how important people and relationships are. How precious and lil time we have with the people we love. I dont get mad as easily, I put my phone down more and listen to my children, I see this whole world differently since I lost my Daddy. We all face death eventually. If you can face it with Christ its an amazing adventure! Will change your whole outlook on life! Time flies! Make good memories so that when you pass from this life to the next people wont just miss you but look forward to seeing you again one day!
