A hero is a hero because of her response and composure when faced with immense challenges... ...extreme risks... ...the fearful unknown... ...the possibility to expose ones own weaknesses... ...the crap-storm of failure... ...and a hero is a hero based on how she responds to sweet, unmitigated victory. Achievement and victory are well and good...but they are a part of a process that necessarily includes failure and defeat. The hero becomes a hero through how she responds to ALL the things, before and after, on the path that includes victory and defeat. Go...and be a hero.
