I tell you, if anyone is thinking of fostering, try it. Seriously. Its so rewarding. This lil deaf girl we have although very challenging, is just a lil sweetheart truthfully. We just cant keep her. We arent equipped for all the things coming her way. She will be leaving us this week and we will miss her. I gave Lora a break today with kids and I watched ours and this little girl a few hrs myself today. During this time in between taking care of Chubbs too, I played with her a lot, of course fed her, diaper changes, and worked on communicating with her. She loves to mimmic so I did fun stuff with her that she could mimmic. I also took the time to help her walk, she cant walk except around furniture. She came with very very little clothing and yucky tennis shoes. We are sending her with the very little things she came with but she will leave with addtl newer clothing and pajamas that are nice. We will also be buying her new shoes tomorrow. Please pray they find the perfect next family for her that will love her and take care of her and be able to provide nice things for her and help her work towards her milestones. Im thankful for the time weve had with her and pray she leaves with more love to tuck away deep in her heart. Shes been a huge challenge, no lie, but shes come a very long way in the week that weve had her.
