I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground - TopicsExpress

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. John 12:24 When Jesus spoke these words He was referring to His own death. Jesus used this image to describe the monumental effect that He knew His death would have on all mankind. Through Christ, millions upon millions have been given eternal life, and generation after generation has been redeemed. With just one seed God gave life and hope to an entire world that was lost and condemned to die. Yet till this day that door is open to whom so ever will... the same plan of salvation that was offered then on that Glorious day that the church was born on the day of Pentecost in the upper room when Peter stood up and declared ,THIS IS THAT... and then when asked what shall we do? Peter replied ,Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the NAME Of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,AND YOU SHALL receive the promise of the Holy Ghost Now, what about the seed you hold in your hand? This now i know knowledge... I know what it is to be born again and now i need to tell all that i can about the door that is still open to whom soever will. What would happen if you were to release it and sow it into the lives of other And to tell them of the life changing Sacrifice of Jesus Christ? What kind of monumental effect would it have? And now that your life and heart has been changed ,now that your Born again, and you have a love for God and His word and for the lost souls and now you understand what it takes to plant seed into someones life and now your love for the church and how you can now plant your seed into the ministry to cause even another monumental effect to be able to reach more lost souls in a greater number for now it is not just one seed remaining, but gaining, growing and branching out to all over your city, your state and nation and even the world and producing great works and producing a bumper crop at harvest-time,and what a harvest we shall have ,as we sow into the lives of others in which ever way you and I can, and sowing into the ministry to be able to go further and work, for the time is NOW. No matter how you sow ,just SOW. If you have a jail ,nursing home, street,or whichever ministry God has called you into SOW your time, your money, you ride to someone to the grocery store or picking up there mail if they can not ,mowing your neighbors yard,or cooking for the elderly which ever you can do do it SOW it and watch how your seed begins to grow, and how a life will be changed, and a soul saved. Ezekiel 17:8 says, It had been planted in good soil by abundant water so that it would produce branches, bear fruit and become a splendid vine. As long as you hold on to it, it will be just one seed, and it will never do what seeds were meant to do-to die and bring forth fruit. Could it feed the hungry, bring life-saving aid to the sick, and help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Until you release your seed, you will never know. And many could miss out on a blessing.
