I tend to disagree with the fact that geting many children is an economic setback. Just look around and tell me if the rich and the well educated comes from those families with one or two kids. If we inherit the western culture,we will not survive in Africa. Just have a look at countries like China and their population. We face alot of dangers as human race in kenya with Hiv and Aids,cancer plus the teror attack of Al-shabaab. In my conclusion: God is the final provider of all the basic needs of our children since strength and knowledge comes from Him and even our live-spand is ofcourse His wish.
