I thank God I am not a football fan... I just dont know how I will cope with those stories and gists... Or else how will I survive arguments about one club not winning a match? Or the continual suspicion of foul play on the transfer of somebody? And to think of husband and wife belonging to rival teams! Just because of a ball on which some unknown guys collect millions! And where do I get money to buy petrol for every match? Or pay for DSTV subscription just to watch some super channels? How will I know the names and faces of all those oyinbos that look alike? And then which or what club do I follow from here when I dont know them? What will I say about sell out referees and fixed matches? But it seems there is something good about football and its fans... It is the only place where you can gloat over your enemys loss... without actually committing sin... Abi no be so? All ye my football friends, I wish you the best o....
