I thank my former FB friend Evelyn Woodward-Johnson for helping me with some struggles earlier this year. Unfortunately, I must unfriend her because her actions provoke me to make poor decisions such as waste resources tutoring her children while receiving little sacrificial help in return when asked to reciprocate. It is my mistake to expect her to help me as I helped her. Despite the Biblical teachings to help the #homeless (which I was until tonight) and support our friends. Evelyn chose to focus on her South Africa trip, taking TK Johnson to Berklee College of Music, and promoting her own agenda at Richmond Public Schools. Presently, she has refused my offer to help her with her Praxis in return for a positive reference. I made the same mistake with Candy Miles-Crocker and Michelle Riley-Jones. I tutored their children and received negative results in my network. Now, I choose to assertively negotiate up front and walk away when others cannot see favorable Win/Win opportunities. I challenge Evelyn, Candy, and Michelle to publicly offer their views in this thread. I have acted poorly because I expected them to help me after I helped them, not ignore me (Michelle), frustrate me (Evelyn), or serve me with a restraining order when I acted in anger (Candy).
