I thank the Almighty God for his strength and grace that has helped me this year with out His light 2014 season wouldnt of been..as my days of reflection comes to and end I want to thank people who have imprinted my love for Box Hill Broncos My late father Taniela Puamau Danny who played for the Broncos years ago and got a chance to coach few future legends on the way if didnt happened i wouldnt of been a Bronco! Dad being picked Hooker of the Silver jubillee 50th team was a cherished moment for my family and has bonded my families love for this club..Thank my 1st ever coach the late Leo Cooper back in 1990 for setting the rugby foundation.. growing up with cousins and childhood mates during junior years wouldnt of been possible without the family club and alot goes to president back then Ema Yandall who spoiled us all without her a lot of Poly boys wouldnt of been at the club.. All my cousins and childhood mates that have don the jersey made me proud the likes of Mark Masiu Moala Moa Sharlene Tuinauvai Uluaki N Siu Taufa Samu N Taufa Wesley N Kylie Puamau Luke Puamau Robert Pale James Latu David Palavi Alan Latu Pongi boys to name a few (so many more) ..my 1st ever 1st grade captain in Darron Rutene back in 2002/03 thank you for the experience and helping me in senior rugby just playing alongside 3 peat champions of Chrisso Jose Clifton Viliamu Spike Jack Goodman Walshy Whippy and more was amazing..the King Tonga Inoke Cocker who made tongans from far wanna play and stay at Box hill if it wasnt for him alot of Poly boys would of walked the love and down to earth heart of this club legend needs to be thanked!..him playing over 350 games is amazing and to me he should of been picked as Hooker of the 50th team infront of my dad thats straight up! Andrew Slyfield work is under rated and his hardwork teaching,lecturing,coaching goes unnoticed to alot He stuck with the club when the times were tough that shows alot bout his character and has turned it around in one season thank you for your hardwork and our endless phone chats thank your lovely wife and Hawks boy Ollie ..stay again Coach we all have your back! His helpers Dan TasmanMaea Wilf Phil Jarret Trevor Lewis thank you for the amazing help ..to Dan for you to be a junior & senior coach shows the love & passion you have for Box hill thank Leslie and your family for their patience especially your short fuse ;) lol jokes.. Our Mums Tilly Vlok Lyn Jarratt Rebecca Hawkins and their family of helpers its why we are still and always be the Family Club thank you so much we the players owe you mums alot the endless work you mums do for us is so appreciated love you all! Chris Hunter the man behind the scenes who has helped the team climb from wooden spooners to finalist all those pre season trainings and his famous Smash sessions are hectic credit to you and your endless hardwork Ross Saunders and board thank you keep working get our club up there the behind the scenes legend Grant Mahony you wear the love and passion for Box hill on your sleeve the emotion you have strived me this year the help the chats youve given me helped alot.. Massive thank you for the help and vision of Waqa Baravilala and islandbreeze ..what a blessing you have been to Box hill the work you do for the community through YWAM is amazing and the culture off field is awesome thank you to Jade Simon Fua Finau Pulu Ili Tabua for the prayers and support..not many players can rock up to training and get coached by their childhood heroes in Ilie Tabua the knowledge and support he has given me throughout this year is so abundant seeing one of my wallaby legends makes me feel like a little fob kid bout to open up his 1st ever 6 pound Palm cornbeef tin!! Lastly my love my bestie my wife Rose Puamau rugby can be a selfish sport regarding training nights gameday after function & recovery sesh but the support you have given to me is amazing the help the love for me & Box hill helped me alot to our 2 angels love them so much Daddy daycare is back! 2014 a memorable blessing season although we fell short take it as motivation for next year especially to losing to arch rivals!!!
