I think AT&T goes out of its way to chase off customers. I am one of the people duped by the iPhone 6 preorder fiasco who cancelled when I found out it would take two months to get my preorder. At the time of the preorder, I was charged $187. This was an actual charge and not a hold according to my bank. I cancelled days ago and checked my account to see if I had been refunded yet so I could either get it from an AT&T store or a Verizon store. I had not been refunded as of today so I called AT&T. It turns out that while they cancelled the order, they did not initiate a refund. According to their customer service person a refund has been initiated now, but I will hear by 10/2 that it has been approved and it may be up to two weeks before I receive my refund. It amazes me that this company can be so messed up.
