I think High School had to be the most influential place in the - TopicsExpress

I think High School had to be the most influential place in the world for a teenager. A lot of people saw high school as a fashion show by always trying to wear the most recent and new clothes of that year. Some people joined gangs and became violent people by fighting somebody every week. Others were always trying to impress somebody to get their approval. Others were trying to be the person who was looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend. When you can remember high school for everything but education, then you know someone went wrong. Sad to say, but it was mainly, but not entirely, the black and Hispanic crowd that really did all these things. I think we must do better than that. To go further, it was mainly, but not entirely, the white people who I would come across that was always concerned about their grades, future education, extra-curricular activities, and trying to excel. When you hear people get mad because they made a B on their test instead of an A, then you know they are focused. IDK about you , but I noticed that people were starting to hang around white people more than their own race. On the other hand, the black and Hispanic people were disciplined, too. They focused in class so they can be in sports and other good things. They did their thing, but as someone who is black and Mexican, I wondered why most of us were the ones who seemed like they didnt care much about school. Im not saying I was the best, but I did graduate and get my diploma within the 4 years you are suppose to be in high school. I think we can rise up to the plate. Who ever said we had to be the ones who fulfill bad statistics. How come it was only the white people who had cars in high school with good grades and lived in the houses? Much love to white people, but it shouldnt only be them. They did their thing and got success and I think we can too
