I think I am an empowered woman compared to many many others of my contemporaries or elders or even the younger ones. Not only that, even as a feminist activist, I am also a hardcore romantic and much appreciate chivalry in our day to day life. Oh, yes, when the need arises, I may be the first one to pick up the sword or any arm to defend my loved ones. Till such time, I would continue to love being pampered with a fresh flower now and then or to be offered a seat in a crowded restaurant or bus or be ushered to a seat in a theater... :) Does that sound too much ? Well, feminism is not against chivalry !! So, knights in the shining armors, just know that the feminist women are the ones you can count on to take the lead when the chips are down because they would be the ones better equipped to deal with crisis and emergencies when you may need an extra pair of hands. . Correct me, if I am wrong in saying so.
