I think I finally understand why caring for Palestinians is so divisive. I got my friend from Israel to admit that it is not human beings that are being killed by Israeli airstrikes, only terrorists, and that my use of the word human beings was loaded... I dont think any human beings, be they Israeli or Palestinian should be killed... but the truth is that airstrikes are a lot more effective killing machines than the rockets not making it through the dome defense system... real people are dying... call them Muslim or terrorist or Arab or Mexicans in the Arizona desert... humanity is the casualty. I suppose as long as I have any empathy for non-Israelis as human beings, I will be eternally wrong because this is an epic biblical battle between good and evil? Long live the bomb.
