I think I may have figured out the actual reason for why there are kids outside of supermarkets and stores trying to sell you candy bars. It ultimately teaches them to not fear rejection. Which is far more useful than having to deal with actual fear of rejection by any other means. Because, I mean, if you buy a chocolate bar you get a chocolate bar but if you dont buy a chocolate bar, they just move on to the next one. Or i could be completely out of my mind.
