I think I might actually be high or delirious on cake fumes!! Postie comes to the back door,into the chaos that is my kitchen-cakes in the oven,cakes waiting to go in the oven,cake boxes piled to the ceiling,cake boards everywhere,a BUCKET of buttercream with at least 5 different pallette knives in it,sitting on the bench,numerous pencils and brushes stuck in my hairnet(so I dont lose them),sugar Santas and Xmas trees everywhere AND AT LEAST an inch of icing sugar coating every available surface including my face. Then Riley dawg races past him,in a cloud of sugar,sparkling like a tree ornament with edible green and red glitter all over him and a light coating of silver and gold shimmer spray, making him smell like a giant cupcake!!! Postie turns to me and says...............Doing a WEE bit of baking are ya!????!?!?!?!?!! For split second I looked at him(well I think I did-hard to see much from behind my glasses coated with flour)not knowing whether to laugh or cry,then the 2 of us went into pieces laughing!! Riley dawg was jumping up at him in a wee cloud of lustre dust-he mustve thought Id FINALLY lost it completely!!! Lol. Postie went on his way,cupcake in hand,having had a good laugh at us today!! And I want to emigrate OR hibernate til after Xmas!!!😲😝
