I think I miss Chewie the most on Sundays...She has not been at the church the last two Sundays...On the Sundays I could not take her she would always give me the biggest ever WELCOME HOME no matter the amount of PAIN she was feeling... This is a Throw Back Sunday Story...Lessons from Chewie... Sundays are always a little hard on Chewie. I work long hours. Once the Church is clear of peeps, Chewie knows she gets to come in. This Sunday I was watching her out the window..It was so Precious...She went potty then came trotting down the sidewalk towards the Church....You could see her eyes scanning the horizon looking for me...She was not overly excited to be out of the car, but was searching for me in a concerned manner....When Kayla opened the door & her eyes locked on me...Her body got tall, her tail went wild, she was making these funny little high pitched whining noises & she took off in a full on RUN! Not easy for an old girl & will usually results in consequences latter....She knows I helped to free her from the bondage of a Chain that weighed her down for many many years....Chewie knows & Trust me to take care of her...She TRUSTS I will protect her...She Trusts me to help her know how to act in unfamiliar situations....She Trust me to Lift her up & Carry her when she is weak...Provide food, water, shelter & Unconditional LOVE.... How much more does God want you to Trust in Him alone to Provide Unconditional Love for you... Protect you...Care for you?..When we get to know Him & become His children...Trusting the Work of Jesus on the Cross to break the chains that hold us Prisoners & Keep us Separated from Him....He alone is our REFUGE our TRUE SECURITY!...Our only help when things are not going well...He will show us how to Live in every situation...No storm will harm us...He will always Catch us when we are on Shaky ground...He will Carry us when we are WEAK!....All we have to do is FOCUS our eyes on Him & Run full on into His Everlasting Arms...... The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’ Deuteronomy 33:27 Today & Everyday....Keep your eyes focused on HIM!...Spend time in His Word....Praying & Plugging into the Power only the Holy Spirit can Provide!....Trusting that He alone is our Refuge...our True Security.... Then Have a Super Fantastic Extra Happy Day...Trusting that the God of the Universe will be with you, wherever you Go!
