I cant even walk without You holding my hand. The mountains too high and the valleys too wide. Down on my knees, I learned to stand. And I cant even walk without You holding my hand. These words were cried out beautifully by Pastor Wells time and time again. They were so provoking because if you knew him, you KNEW these words described his testimony. What an accomplishment it is to live the truth of faith. To truly realize we are nothing without our creator. My heart is broken for Pastor Wells entire family, those that I love like a family myself, beautiful and close friends. I cannot imagine the loss you are experiencing, but I KNOW God is holding your hands. To know Gene Wells was to love him, and I consider myself blessed to have been guided by, married by, have my kids prayed into the world by, and loved by this precious man. The lives he influenced will live on in this life from now on. Heaven gets to laugh today, and Pastor really does get to hold Jesus hand.
