I think Im living in a Tim Burton movie. Had my appointment yesterday. Made it for 1. After waiting for 45 min, was then told it was at 2. Got back to the prep room. Nurse handed me a gown and told me I needed to remove everything from the waist up. ????? The injection was going in my hip. Got changed, put the lovely bonnet on, Then the nurse started asking me questions. She didnt understand why I kept telling her no. She finally realized she was prepping me for the wrong procedure. Even the doctor asked why they had me change. A person does not need sedation for an ultrasound. So, I fasted for no reason and had the hubby take off work and drive me there for NO REASON. The procedure took 5 minutes. I went through all of this for the injection not to work and give me a nasty case of insomnia. Turns out I cant take steroids.
