I think Ive figured out whats bugging me about the way Christmas is going nowadays. Weve all seen people decry aspects of the holiday and do things like demand nativity scenes be taken down and certain things not be taught in school because your kids having a different opinion from you offends people, apparently. And heres what really gets me about it: It all comes to people tearing each other down. Why is that we have to take everything away from everyone and not let people do anything? Im not Christian or Jewish, but I dont care if I see baby Jesus everywhere, or Minorahs (Im pretty sure I spelled that wrong). Why cant we teach our kids about all the holidays and just mind ourselves? To borrow a line from some wise men, for a few days, for crying out loud, cant we all just along?
