I think Sante must be a saint...not only has he repaired and made like new all the machines ( mowers, chainsaw, rotivator etc ) He has supported five pine trees that fell down in the big storm, fixed the leaks in the roof, repaired my broken computer, my petrol cap cover to my car, fixed the hoover, the leak in the hot water tank, replaced the showerhead, lightsockets, hooks in the bathroom and helped with stuff on the computer. But more than all this he does everything with such patience, love and care. He is down to earth and grounded and knows loads about the healing properties of herbs and wild plants. I ve been laid up with a nasty flu virus since wednesday with a thumping migraine and vertigo so Sante goes out into the garden and returns with a bunch of herbs I didnt know we had growing here. He s also a brilliant Italian cook and loves cooking and is into creating things out of recycled goods. When I m feeling better I m going to post some of his creations including a watering system with old barrels and a small solar panel. Thank you Sante for all you have done to help me here. I can t thank you enough The Helping Hand, which holds up the old tree nicknamed Wonky Conker, was sculpted by John Butler. The old tree was nearly chopped down for a carpark, but saved by townspeople of Bideford, UK.
