I think Wilson Sossion and Nzili are not being strategic in dealing with the government. First of all, they should realize that this is not Kibaki government, which was fractious. Secondly, Jubilee is creating a propaganda that the union is being hired by CORD to cause chaos. So, the public is not supporting them 100%. Third, there is a possibility that Jubilee may sack primary school teachers because teachers have been divided in two. Fourth, too many strikes are depicting the union as reckless and teachers as lazy people who pray for a chance to leave class and yet draw salaries. The union should adopt guerilla strategy. They should strike briefly, get something and then rush to class. Then wait for next and do the same. Currently, the arrogance and bravado being displayed by the union is making jubilee see them as saboteurs for hire and not unionists agitating for higher pay for members. The face-off will end in humiliation for Knut.
