I think a lot of the parallels and similarities of our Resistance and the centuries old human struggle that culminated into the decades of the Civil Rights Movement. Differing leaders, circles, efforts and objectives still came together in the narrative of 1968. Grass Roots or even Idle No More is not a strong enough word to hold the true meaning of the very Heart and Strength of our People in Action. I see a critical summer of our Resistance in 2014. Differing leaders, circles, efforts and objectives are in play. Court victories, an unpopular sitting government, and this year a more educated corps of allies are all together and with another thread of the grand narrative introduced as Reconciliation of the previous centuries. Faith, belief, and determination make us all extraordinary people. Year after year of hundreds of events we keep at it undeterred. We are the Big Hearted, we are keeping the faith, and we are not going to stop!
