I think about about someone kitas in process but until expire due date is not done yet and have to pay fine Rp 200.000,- every single day, just want to share info: You dont have to pay the fine especially if your spouse is WNI. If you know it will be late, say your Kitas not done yet a week or 3 days before expire. Ask the agent/your self go to immigration office, asking the staff about form Surat Penangguhan, they will give you for FREE. The form is like form Perdim for kitas. Fill in the form and along with that form (Prepare before you go to Immigration Office) also give sponsor letter, give tittle: Surat Permohonan Penangguhan with materai Rp 6000 (Sign by sponsor) & Surat Jaminan by sponsor + Photo 3 x 4 cm + copy of KTP & KK of your sponsor (Wife/husband WNI) + marriage certificate + copy of your pasport (The page with your photo on it and the page with your lates visa/kitas on it) but also prepare if they ask you copy of the whole paspport from front cover to back cover. Give it back to the Loket for WNA and whatever loket they want you to go. Then they will process & give you letter that you have Penangguhan, and you dont have to pay even Rp 1 (one) rupiah for it, while waiting your visa/kitas that agent/immigration make it late (Not your fault). It just my experience, maybe someone else in this community have better explanation, pls inform. Sorry for my broken English Have a happy Monday!
