I think about how I ended up here. And it was a pretty simple formula. I spent my 20s working hard, REALLY hard. We had tunnel vision, with our main focus being accomplishing our goals & setting things up for the future. We got all of the hard stuff out of the way first. We lived very modestly, had to forgo vacations some years, saved like crazy so that we could buy a home at 28. We talked about how when we had kids they would be our main focus. Right around 30, things started getting really good. Now my biggest stressors are did I wash everyones uniforms for game day, how many activities and how much fun can I fit into spring break & summer vacay, and if its my turn to run the carpool. Im at the sidelines of most games shouting for my kids, weekends are fun, & Joel & I are both home for dinner every night of the week. Life is good. If I could talk to 21, 24, & 26 year old Sherina, Id tell her with a smile You are worrying for nothing because it will all work out. #lifelessons #keepgrinding
