I think artists statements or bios or whatever blither blather artists have to write should henceforth be written in the style of horror movie descriptions on Netflix. Strapped for cash, emerging artist Angel agrees to house sit for a mysterious antiquities collector in what should be a three month rent-free paradise. But just as she sets up her easel she discovers something isnt right about the house. After graduation from a prestigious art school, Vera finds herself a studio in a coveted abandoned warehouse in Los Angeles. She cant believe her luck until soon after things begin to go horribly wrong and she can no longer tell where her reality and nightmares begin or end! Stephanie (because all these names end in an a, an ie, or y to promote innocence and youth...oh, sorry, I digress...) Stephanie and her roommate abandon their dreams of becoming painters in order to try their hands at experimental performance art happenings but get more than they bargained for when a mysterious collector appears and suddenly everything they hold precious starts to disappear!
