I think as my kids get older (and yes, I realize that 4 isnt old) I become so very grateful for my time with them. I see my kids 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and I still feel like its not enough. I love how Jacob is such a caring and sensitive soul who loves helping others; I love Abigails stubbornness and her girly ways that every mom hopes her daughter will possess; and I love how my not-so-small zach is growing into such a funny little man, but is still unsure like his daddy was, and needs his mommy by his side. As my babies grow older, I too grow as a person. I learn to let go a little each day they learn to master something new, but also make sure that they know Im never too far away to catch them. I realize each day how blessed I am that God chose me to teach and guide these three precious people through their lives. I love how they have created a strong connection with my husband and I, and have made our marriage the best its ever been. I do get sad Ill never have another baby, but I realize that Ive already won the mommy lottery. To all the mommies out there, hold your babies tight and enjoy this very quick moving roller coaster before its time for us to get off.
